Food Personification: Part 1

One of my all-time favorite foods is cotton candy. I mean, seriously. Have you every experienced a texture so mind-blowing? It's pink and pretty and it melts right when you eat it. It is basically eating an abominable snowman's beard WHILE YOU ARE AT A CARNIVAL (or Santa Cruz).
The first time I had a churro was last year during a "hate" program held in my dorm's ballroom. While they were talking about gay and racial slurs, I was chowin' down on a Spanish donut. It was good bribery to get me to sit through the speeches. By the end of the program, my lap was covered in cinnamon sugar. Good stuff.

Christian Themes

As Randy promised in the last post, we're upping the ante. We've got some real gems here and this is the first in a long line of precious stones to come.
This comic is one of my favorites:

As I sat sadly by my lunch

This is a comic dealing with childhood and the inner sanctum of the anus. Ahaha, just kidding. We love funny jokes.

It is worth pointing out, however, that from here on out, you can expect nothing more than QUALITY comics... not that everything that has been posted prior hasn't been our best (they all are), but we are down to putting out the BEST we have to offer. That means every panel has been drawn with care, albeit in strictly the most SPONTANEOUS sense- we still abide by your improvisational "anything-goes" policy. However, we hit a creative streak recently that still hasn't quite slowed down yet- genitalia hysteria indeed. We hope to stay committed in the years to come.

Remember: Moist Comics- your key to quality graphic literature.

The following is part of the "flying elbow" trilogy:

AMINALS

This is a graphical exercise which strengthens the mind's capacity and capabilities involving distance, orientation, and the ability to bullshit your way into making a catchy-yet-interesting comic tag line.

Lucky Four Leaf Clover

The reason French Laundry is an expensive restaurant is because they put a 4-leaf clover in every dish. Delicious!

WHAT EAT SHOULD I?

Sometimes I have a really hard time deciding what to eat. I open the door and gaze into the refrigerator for what feels like hours, letting the cool conditioned air envelop me as it escapes from the confines of the glorified closet.

Tooth Fairy VS. Cavity Troll

Neither Randy nor I has ever had a cavity. And we'd like to keep it that way >:-|

Tuesday, November 10, 2009

This is a tribute to all those bad days where everyone gets the thing you want but you can't have it. And then they give it to you and you think they are being nice. But then they play tribal music in your face as you roast over a fire. And then they eat you. Yea, I'm not alone on this one, am I?

Here's a comic that's clean enough to show your grandma. However, it isn't pervy enough to show your dirty grandpa.

Seduced Souls of Koalas

November is a good month to continue our comics. I chose this month specifically because we posted comics in the previous month (Oktober) as well, so this month makes a good primer to the previous month's anthology of comics.

Below is a hand-drawn comic that we (Jean and I) created out of paper and pen. The medium of the comic offers an endless array of possibilities, and it gives us an opportunity to express what we truly want to say in a potentially potent combination of both pictures and words. Enjoy.

Read left to right, top to bottom, to understand.

This comic is based on (500) Days of Summer, Gilligan's Island, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Could this get any more burlesque? I don't think so.
